FARGO : SU-SHI INSPIRATION

En esta ocasión dedicamos este espacio a algo de inspiración. Hay momentos, personajes, lugares, situaciones u objetos que inspiran creaciones muy especiales. Ese es el caso de Fargo, la película de los inconfundibles hermanos Coen, del año 1996. Esta comedia de intriga policial y humor negro llevó a nuestra diseñadora, Susana Torrubia, a crear un bolso inspirado en la esencia del thriller.

This time we dedicate this space to some inspiration. There are moments, people, places, situations or objects that inspire very special creations. This is the case of Fargo, the film of the unmistakable Coen brothers, from 1996. This thriller neo-noir comedy film led to our designer, Susana Torrubia, to create a handbag inspired by the essence of the film.

La historia trata sobre un desgraciado vendedor de coches con problemas económicos que planea junto a dos malechores el secuestro de su esposa para luego pedirle un rescate a su suegro y repartirlo a medias entre él y los secuestradores.

The story is about a hapless car salesman with money problems who plans with two malefactors the kidnapping of his wife and then ask for a ransom from his father and split it equally between him and the kidnappers.

La dirección es brillante, la fotografía nos enseña los bellos paisajes nevados de Fargo (Minnesota, EEUU) que al admirarlos nos hacen sentir el frío de ese lugar. Fargo, es una película de apariencia minimalista y sosegada, que en ocasiones estalla en violencia casi grotesca y esto no hace más que engrandecer la historia. ¿Hasta dónde podría llegar una persona por dinero?

The direction is brilliant, the photography shows us the beautiful snowy landscapes Fargo (Minnesota, USA) that make us feel the cold of that place. Fargo is a quiet minimalist appearance film, which sometimes erupts into violence almost grotesque and this only serves to magnify the story. How far could a person go for money?
